Do you provide a written quote?

Yes. After inspection you receive written findings and a quotation before any chargeable repair work goes ahead.

Which areas do you cover?

Cape Town and the surrounding Western Cape, including the City Bowl, Atlantic Seaboard, Southern and Northern Suburbs, Western Seaboard, South Peninsula, Helderberg and the Winelands.

Do you work on all heat pump brands?

We repair and service the hot water, geyser and pool heat pump brands commonly installed in the Cape. Tell us the brand and model when you call so we bring the right parts and gauges.

Why is my heat pump not heating?

The usual causes are refrigerant charge loss, a fouled evaporator coil restricting airflow, a circulation or flow problem, or a drifting temperature sensor. Diagnosis needs live pressure and temperature readings rather than guesswork.

Can a leaking heat pump be repaired?

Often yes. Condensate drainage issues are simple to correct, and failed unions, valves and heat exchangers can usually be replaced. A corroded exchanger on an old unit sometimes makes replacement the better value.

Regional Context

Conditions in the Southern Suburbs

The Southern Suburbs are dominated by established family homes on larger plots, many with older plumbing, multiple bathrooms and heated pools. Winter ambient temperatures and morning damp make defrost behaviour and correct sizing more noticeable here than elsewhere in the metro.

Climate: Cooler, wetter winters on the mountain side with damp mornings affecting defrost cycles.

Typical properties: Established family homes, estates, schools and pools.
