Can a leaking heat pump be repaired?

Often yes. Condensate drainage issues are simple to correct, and failed unions, valves and heat exchangers can usually be replaced. A corroded exchanger on an old unit sometimes makes replacement the better value.

What causes a heat pump to trip the electricity?

Most commonly moisture ingress into terminals or the controller, a failing compressor or fan winding, a faulty backup element, or damaged supply cable. The heat pump and element circuits must be tested separately.

Is it worth repairing an old heat pump?

We give you the repair cost against the replacement cost and the likely remaining life, then let you decide. We will tell you when a repair is not worth doing.

How quickly can you attend?

Call 069 268 0988 and we will give you a realistic attendance window based on where you are and what our schedule looks like that day. We do not promise a time we cannot keep.

Do you provide a written quote?

Yes. After inspection you receive written findings and a quotation before any chargeable repair work goes ahead.

What apartment complexes need

Central or per-unit plant, with body corporate approval for any changes. That changes the specification. Demand pattern, acceptable noise level, plant access and who signs off the work all differ from a standard household, and the assessment has to start there rather than with the equipment already installed.
